  • For me, the genius of this record lies on the B side. The A is relatively straightforward funky post-punk electro pop, but the B sorta turns that inside out, reworking the A side by dropping the vocal down a phone line several miles away & leaving little else bar some ticking percussion & a hypnotic water-droplet melody line. Shows what a little invention can bring to proceedings.
