Manau - Panique Celtique download free

The fact that the charts are a real joke has been proved years before the Crazy Frog time. (I'm partly quoting a comment about Crazy Frog here.) And this album is one of these proofs. Personally, I absolutely can't stand this album because of these terribly annoying Celtic instruments (I'll tell you, when it comes to music I can't listen to anything "celtic" unless it is a bodhran solo), but this is nothing else than my simple opinion. But honestly, today, would you see a MAJORITY of 12-year old people listening to that kind of music ? I really doubt it. The track "La Tribu De Dana" was the 2nd best sold single in France of the year (ouch !) and it even managed to get into the first place in the French clubs. Yes, in the CLUBS, you read it properly. Thanksfully for only one week, but some other weeks it was in the top 10 as well. Do you honestly imagine some people dancing to that in the clubs ? Personally I wonder how they did. Since the entire album is in the same style, it's not surprising to know that it also was one of the most sold albums of 1998 in France. So much that one of the members of my family bought it... that means I OWN it actually... I'm so ashamed that I won't put it on my Discogs collection. Of course no ones listens to it anymore (and that's a good thing.) I also remember some people listening to "Mais Qui Est La Belette ?" (bad memories for me, indeed), and singing the chorus everytime it came. They loved the track of course. But the thing is that this track is actually a half-cover of a track called "La jument de Michao" by Tri-Yann (I don't like it at all also) realeased in the late seventies. And once I tried a little experience : I made them listen to the original Tri-Yann track (it required a lot of efforts from me believe me). Not only they didn't like i, they thought it was a cover of the Manau track, while it's the contrary. The final word is that this album proves that with the radio you can make the 12-year old people like anything. Really anything. Just put it on the radio, play it once every 30 minutes and that's it. It's that bad really. Why can't these people find their favourite music style and listen to what they like ?
